All the EVA Receptionist features are now in EVA Check-in and EVA Receptionist customers are moved on to the new platform to allow them to make use of the Check-in capabilities like contactless, mobile apps, and induction processes.
Integration with Procore allows check-in information to automatically be uploaded into Procore project management system for construction.

A large NZ ski area reaches out looking for help to manage visitor numbers up the mountain. COVID means visitor numbers need to be constrained. The solution is a new car park booking solution – EVA Parking – which integrates with Check-in
EVA Check-in has grown significantly. A big burst of NZ customers mostly wanes as COVID comes under control in NZ, but EVA continues to be in high demand in Queensland where it becomes the de facto standard for all outdoor sports, then for many businesses, hospitals and councils.
Designertech merges with Theta and EVA starts a new life in the new company
In late 2019 Theta decides to upgrade the underlying technology and essentially rewrite the platform to ensure better future support
EVA Cloud was launched, a multi-tenanted software-as-a-service solution. The user interface was upgraded to HTML5 at that time (as Silverlight was deprecated)
A major contract with Fonterra is signed. This resulted in the addition of multi-language capability to EVA and deployment throughout 7 different Fonterra locations in the Asia-Pacific region. Steady growth in customers comes off the strength of these good early customers, including Air New Zealand and NIWA
The first major sale of EVA Receptionist is to Television New Zealand who had searched the global market at that time and expressed a preference for working with a company that would be willing and able to customise the product to their requirements.
Development of EVA Receptionist, the predecessor of EVA Check-in - is started by Designertech and formally launches in NZ in early 2012. The original EVA system was a traditional on-premises product and provided basic sign-in and sign-out features.
